A new documentary titled Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition will be released in North American theaters for a limited run beginning May 7th via Trafalgar Releasing.
An official synopsis for the film reads: “With unprecedented access to official band archives, Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition charts five decades of one of the most iconic journeys in music history. Featuring interviews with the band and contributors such as Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich, and Chuck D, this electrifying film offers an intimate look at their uncompromising vision and unwavering connection with their global army of fans.”
The feature-length documentary was directed by Malcolm Venville (Churchill at War) and produced by Dominic Freeman (Spirits in the Forest – A Depeche Mode Film).
Tickets to the theatrical screenings go on sale March 18th, with updates available via a signup at the film’s official website.
The documentary’s release comes as Iron Maiden continue their “Run For Your Lives Tour,” which hits North America in the late summer with support from Megadeth and Anthrax (pick up tickets here).
