José González shares new single, "A Perfect Storm"

Album opener "A Perfect Storm" follows previous singles "Pajarito" and title track "Against The Dying Of The Light", as González tackles the anxiety of watching the rapid acceleration of technology, and the sense of unease around its future impact. Discussing the track, he says: “‘A Perfect Storm’ is about how we ourselves are creating the conditions for a more and more turbulent future. Compared to natural risks, these are man-made, and therefore not random.”

In support of the album, González will be embarking on a UK/EU tour, which will begin on 30 March with a show at Rough Trade, followed by headline performances across Stockholm, Barcelona, Vienna, Milan, Paris, and more, concluding in London's Eventim Apollo on 26 November.
