The king of streaming, Kai Cenat, got hit with a CRAZY “swatting” prank on one of his latest streams. During the shenanigans, cops actually showed up at his crib after a false report claimed he was involved in a violent situation. Really chat?! SWAT teams rolled in, ready for the smoke, but luckily, it was all just a hoax. This wasn’t Kai’s first time dealing with this kind of mess.
What is “Swatting”?
Swatting is when people fake an emergency—like saying someone’s in danger or doing something illegal—to get cops to show up, nothing but sweaty streamers confused and scared.
The prank was part of a steamathon called “Mafiathon 2,” and it’s definitely a reminder that being a big-time influencer comes with some serious risks. People be trolling hard, and in this case, it could’ve turned real ugly. The false report said Kai had hostages at his place, which led to a bunch of police showing up, wasting time and energy on a made-up situation.
Kai, who’s known for his streams and videos, has spoken out about the dangers of swatting before, and this stunt only adds to the need for better protection for creators. It’s a reminder that not everything you see online is what it seems, and sometimes, the internet can be a seriously messed-up place.
