Kenan & Kel’s Kel Mitchell to Launch His Own Orange Soda Brand

It’s crazy that this hasn’t happened already, but Kenan & Kel star Kel Mitchell says he’s planning to launch his own orange soda brand soon. His character’s obsession with orange soda became a reoccurring story line on the the Nickelodeon series; now, the 46-year-old Mitchell hopes to make a business out of it.

Sharing the news during an appearance at 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut (via People), Mitchell told fans he aspires to make a healthier alternative. “I can’t have kids out here just drinking fructose and sugar, you know what I mean? So, we’ve been working on it.”
