The first wave of artists confirmed for Victorious Festival 2025 have been confirmed, with Kings Of Leon, Queens Of The Stone Age and Vampire Weekend leading the way. Find out more details below.
Next year’s edition of the live music event – which is the UK’s biggest metropolitan festival – is set to return to the Southsea seafront and run between August 22 and 24.
With the new announcement, Queens Of The Stone Age have been confirmed as headliners, and are set to take to the stage on the first day of the three-day event (Friday August 22). The slot comes amid their huge year of touring this summer in celebration of their most recent album ‘In Times New Roman’, and on the heels of frontman Josh Homme returning to stage following emergency surgery.
As the festival is well underway, it is Vampire Weekend who are scheduled as headliners for the Saturday instalment (August 23). For Ezra Koenig and co., the show follows the release of their new record ‘Only God Was Above Us’, and after a huge tour of the UK and Ireland.
Finally, the third and final headliner lined up for the final day of Victorious 2025 is Kings Of Leon. Their closing of the festival on Sunday (August 24) will come following two huge summer shows in Cardiff and Lytham, and see them break out tracks from their ninth studio album, ‘Can We Please Have Fun’.
Joining Kings of Leon on the final night of Victorious will be Bloc Party, Gabrielle and Reytons, while Saturday’s line-up will also include Nelly Furtado, The Last Dinner Party and Travis.
Performing before them on the opening night of the 2025 event will be Michael Kiwanuka and Madness, while DJ sets from across the three nights will come from Melanie C and Mike Skinner, and afternoon special guest slots are filled by The Charlatans, Rizzle Kicks and Craig David.
Other artists confirmed in this announcement include Shed Seven, Daniel Bedingfield, Reverend and The Makers, The Zutons, Caity Baser, Jamie Webster, Everything Everything, The Mary Wallopers, Wunderhorse, The K’s, Scouting For Girls, Bradley Simpson, The Waeve and more.
“We’ve booked our biggest year to date for Victorious 2025 with iconic headliners and emerging talent, across the board. We always want to provide the best value to our fans and work hard to create a weekend that truly has something for everyone,” said Andy Marsh, Lead Booker at Victorious, in a new statement.
“Victorious 2025 promises unforgettable performances, memories and once-in-a-lifetime experiences! We can’t wait to see everyone on Southsea seafront again!”
Aside from the huge number of artists booked for the event, Joel Dommett and Ruby Wax have also been announced as leading up the Victorious comedy line-up for 2025.
