Krewella is Back with Fourth Studio Album ‘PEAK’

Krewella returns after a four-year hiatus with a new album, PEAK, showcasing the evolution of their sound. Electronic music sister duo Krewella returns from their hiatus since 2022 with a brand-new album called PEAK, along with a tour and new summits in their musical journey. Born in Houston to a Pakistani father and German-Lithuanian-American mother, their multicultural background influences their art. Always experimental, they’ve carved out their own unique sound in EDM. Krewella became known for top hits like “Alive” and “Live for the Night” from their 2013 album Get Wet and went on to launch Mixed Kids Records in 2017. After a few years of personal struggles, Jahan and Yasmine have banded back together to explore their vulnerability and find the light in the darkness in this 12-track experience, which arrives four years after releasing The Body Never Lies. PEAK opens with an intro, “lost in Paraty,” a cinematic, melodic entrance into their world, as they harmonize vocals that feel truly angelic, while lower-vibration synths complement them.
