La Sécurité, formed by Éliane Viens (vocals, synths, percussion), Félix Bélisle (bass, synths, percussion, piano, production), Kenny Smith (drums, guitar), Laurence Anne Charest-Gagné (guitar, percussion, vocals), and Melissa Di Menna (guitar, synths, vocals, percussion), first made their debut in 2023 with their album Stay Safe!. Bingo! is set to follow with the band's foundation of pop-inspired melodies and edgy arrangements, but expands on their sound with elements of no wave, noise rock, and shoegaze.

Title track "Bingo" pulls inspiration from early 2000s-style disco punk, and arrives alongside a cut-out animation video directed by Philippe Beauséjour. Discussing the origins of the song, La Sécurité explain: “The lyrics came following a suggestion from Félix to describe a game of Bingo, to put into words the social life of an old folks home—elderly people that are young at heart, hence the references to Orange Crush, little hats, etc. The bass line and its tone are a tribute to Death From Above 1979.”

Bingo! was written based on improvisational hooks which appear in the songs, which went on to be engineered by Renny Wilson (Nap Eyes, Mitch Davis, Faith Healer), using rare ribbon microphones and vintage compressors while the band played live off-the-floor, before being mixed by co-producers Félix Bélisle and Emmanuel Éthier (Corridor, Population II, Chocolat) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (Pixies, The Hives, Viagra Boys).

Ahead of the album's release, La Sécurité are set to embark on a UK/EU tour beginning in Paris on 16 May, to include dates in Derbyshire, Bristol, Nottingham, Leeds, Norwich, and more.
