Formed by Georgia Butler (vocals, guitar), Spencer Withey (vocals, guitar, synth), James Ely (drums), and Archie Sagers (six-string bass), ladylike first came together in 2022, and they have since released two singles, "Southbound" and "Horse's Mouth". It's a Pleasure Of Mine, to Know You're Fine will be the band's first collection, with new song "Rome (in progress)" arriving as the lead track.

Speaking of the song, ladylike explain: “‘Rome (in progress)’ is about building a livelihood or community and how that isn’t as smooth sailing as you may think, but it’s still the ideal place for you. It’s introspective but existentially reflects the present time. Whilst lyrically minimal, the song focuses on reimagining two of those strange but common English idioms, which tends to be a theme across our songwriting; ‘Rome wasn’t built in a day’ & ‘many hands make for light work’."

ladylike have previously landed festival slots at Green Man, Left Of The Dial, The Great Escape, and Dot To Dot, and supported the likes of Ugly, Mary in the Junkyard, and Lime Garden. The news of their upcoming EP arrives ahead of a run of UK live shows, including a set at Best Fit's Five Day Forecast tomorrow (14 January), before making spring festival appearances at The Great Escape, Outer Town, and Supersonic Block Party in Paris.
