Lamb of God have served up the latest offering from their upcoming album, Into Oblivion, due March 13th. The veteran metal band has unveiled the single “Blunt Force Blues.”
The tune pays homage to the band’s origins in Richmond, Virginia, with singer Randy Blythe noting, “We learned how to play by watching and hanging out with other local dudes. That’s what we aspired to do – keep up with good local bands. They were just as much of an influence on us as any of the bigger bands from different cities.”
Lamb of God will support Into Oblivion with a North American headlining spring tour, featuring stacked support from Kublai Khan TX, Fit for an Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg (tickets available here). Check out the new song “Blunt Force Blues” below, and pre-order Into Oblivion here.
