Lane 8 to Close Out Childish Tour with Red Rocks Appearance

Lane 8 announced the Childish Tour in October and has continued to add new shows to the run of dates.

It was starting to seem like Lane 8‘s Childish Tour might never end. The Anjunadeep darling may have announced it nearly four months ago, but he’s added new dates on a few different occasions. Finally, Lane 8 has shared the final show of the currently underway tour. It’s slated to take place on October 11 at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

Red Rocks makes perfect sense; it marks a homecoming of sorts as Lane 8 (real name Daniel Goldstein) lives in nearby Denver. Joining him for the occasion are Le Youth, who’s a mainstay of Goldstein’s This Never Happened label, and Rinzen and Ashibah, both slated to meld their melodic fare into a highly emotive back-to-back set.

As its name suggests, the tour is in support of Goldstein’s September 2024 surprise album, Childish. The body of work derived inspiration from his experiences as an adolescent and how he’s gotten to relive them by starting a family of his own. The run of dates will conclude after the effort will have had just over a year to breathe through Goldstein’s serene style of DJing and event curation.

Goldstein has made music under the name Lane 8 since his garage rock days as a youth, but it was upon signing to Anjunadeep in 2013 that his career started to gain significant momentum. In 2016, he founded This Never Happened, which shared its name with an event concept he introduced shortly beforehand in which smart phones and social media were banned.

Tickets to the Red Rocks finale of the Childish Tour go on sale Thursday, March 20. Purchase tickets to all available dates on the Lane 8 website.
