Liam and Noel Gallagher celebrated Manchester City’s Carabao Cup victory together at Wembley Stadium today.
At the final in London on Sunday afternoon (March 22), the Oasis brothers’ beloved Man City beat Arsenal 2-0 to win the League Cup trophy for the eighth time in their history and for a record fifth time under manager Pep Guardiola, thanks to two goals from the young England player Nico O’Reilly.
Both Noel and Liam have been avid fans of the club since they were children in Burnage, Manchester in the 1970s, and as seen in photographs posted in social media since the final whistle, they were in the stands at Wembley to see the team lift the trophy together.
It is the first time the brothers have been seen together in public since the final date of the Oasis Live ‘25 comeback tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil in November.

In January, Noel took a tongue-in-cheek jab at City’s rivals Manchester United, comparing them to The Libertines in a less-than-complimentary analogy.
Noel also designed the font on City’s home kit for the 2024/25 season and then designed a new clothing range for them inspired by Oasis‘ 1994 album ‘Definitely Maybe’.
Back in 2012, he also opened up about his reaction to the team winning the Premier League title, joking that he “cried like a baby” when he found out.
In other Oasis news, Steven Knight recently shared more details about his upcoming documentary on the reunion tour, which is said to include “phenomenal” footage of Liam and Noel’s first meeting before the shows began.
“It’s phenomenal,” Knight said. “We’ve got it down to four hours, so we’ve gotta get it down to [a shorter runtime]. But it’s a documentary with a plot, do you know what I mean? It’s actually got a story. And then we’ve expanded it… you’ll see when you see it.”
Noel has also spoken about the documentary, saying: “I’ve only seen a tiny little bit of it and it’s difficult to have an opinion on it because I’m only looking at little snippets.
“Everyone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it’s amazing. If it even captures five per cent of what that tour was, it’ll be astonishing. Looking forward to it.”
Last month, Noel revealed he was back in the recording studio. However, it is currently not known whether this was for new Oasis music or something else. The musician had said earlier that he was “back at work” following his Christmas break.
Noel recently won the Songwriter Of The Year award at the BRITs 2026, where he thanked his brother Liam and their bandmates, past and present. “Without them, I’d just be a singer-songwriter, and no-one gives a shit about singer-songwriters,” he said.
