Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has doubled down after telling Trump supporters to unfollow him on social media.
Borland made headlines last week after taking to his Instagram stories with the following statement (as reported by The PRP):
“If any of my followers voted or support Trump or are still friends with anyone who supports the Trump administration you’re out. F*ck You. Never contact me again.”
The post stirred up backlash from some Limp Bizkit fans who lean right. But the guitarist, who had previously shared his anti-Trump sentiments leading up to the 2016 election, made a follow-up post this past Friday — Borland’s 51st birthday — further emphasizing his stance:
“I guess if you’re mad at me say whatever you want to here. I just want everyone to be happy Fuck Trump. Fuck ICE. Democrats are without leadership except Bernie. Love AOC. So call me a Libtard here. Hail Satan. It’s also my birthday so you can wish me a happy birthday if you want.”
He also added on his stories: “Y’all hating me for not wanting hatred in the world is wild. Fine, keep voting against your best interests and telling me: stick to playing guitar. Never heard that one before.”
The former post included an illustration of the Baphomet, which can be seen below, with Borland later sharing on his stories: “It’s like you’re devil worshippers but not cool ones.”
