A woman alleged to have assaulted former Fleetwood Mac bandmember Lindsey Buckingham after stalking him for years has been arrested in Indiana.
Indiana police arrested 55-year-old Michelle Dick on a warrant from the Los Angeles law enforcement and jailed her on Saturday, April 11th, according to police records. In a complaint made public on Monday, April 13th, Dick was charged with multiple felony counts and misdemeanors.
This includes one felony count of making criminal threats, a felony count of assault with a deadly weapon involving a motor vehicle, and another felony count of vandalizing Buckingham’s vehicle on March 19th.
Dick also faces a separate felony count of making a criminal threat against Buckingham on March 25th. She has also been charged with misdemeanor battery for that incident, during which she allegedly followed Buckingham to an appointment in Santa Monica and tossed an unknown liquid on him
Los Angeles prosecutors allege Dick stalked Buckingham from 2021 to 2026, sending threatening messages to him and his family and being seen waiting outside his home.
Buckingham had filed for a restraining order on Dick in November 2024, saying the messages, which his wife and children also received, some over social media, frightened his family, according to reports. Dick claimed Buckingham was her father. In his petition for the restraining order, Buckingham said that was untrue, adding he did not know Dick.
Police took Dick into custody after she traveled to a hotel in Fort Wayne, Indiana, reports said. She is currently jailed and awaiting extradition to Los Angeles.
