Luvcat has announced her debut album ‘Vicious Delicious’ and shared the feverish lead single and title track – listen below.

The viral Liverpool musician’s first full-length album will be released on October 31 via AWAL – you can pre-order it here. Following that, she will head out on a headline tour of the UK, Europe and the US in the final months of 2025.

As a first preview of the album, Luvcat has shared the track’s defiantly seductive title track, on which she appears to address a partner and fellow musician: “I was never your Nancy / I was never your Penny Lane / I was standing in a sea of Afghan coat groupies on their knees with no names,” she sings.

The track comes complete with a video co-directed by the artist herself, which you can watch here:

Speaking about the album, Luvcat has said: “Making this album happened accidentally. Amongst the madness of the last year I decided I didn’t wanna fuck around with EPs or mixtapes. I really wanted to make my first proper statement and when I found out Halloween fell on a Friday, I knew we had to be fast to get it together.”

“Its lipstick’s a little smudged and its stockings are a little torn, but I am so proud of how we’ve captured this strange, magical story and all the lovers and libertines I’ve met along the way. I think the record is old school romance slightly off its hinges. A swinging pendulum between love and addiction, ecstasy and melancholy, eroticism and innocence, the deliciously vicious and the viciously delicious.”

Luvcat will then head on the road after the album’s release for a string of dates around the UK, Europe and North America. Tickets are on pre-sale from 10am on Tuesday (July 15) and you will be able to find yours here for the UK and here for the US.

Last year, Luvcat spoke to NME about where her sense of affluence and glamour comes from. ““Maybe coming from Liverpool,” she said. “It’s a very glam central city, which I love. My mum had a hair and beauty salon, so I guess it was always in the family, putting our lippy on and doing our hair big. And a lot of time spent in Paris as a young adult has seeped into the music. I love French culture. I’m just obsessed. It’s definitely right up my street.”
