Madonna appeared as a guest star during Sabrina Carpenter’s weekend two headlining set at Coachella.
The surprise collaboration came towards the end of Carpenter’s Friday night set as she performed “Juno.” “Have you ever tried this one?” Carpenter asked, teeing up Madonna’s emergence on stage. The pop icon began her mini-set with “Vogue” before debuting her new single “Bring Your Love” from her forthcoming album Confessions II. With Carpenter’s backing, Madonna also performed “Get Together” from Confessions on a Dance Floor and “Like a Prayer.”
In between songs, Madonna also addressed the crowd, noting that she had last played Coachella 20 years ago to the day (apparently wearing the same corset, jacket, and boots), and she delivered a somewhat awkwardly long history lesson in astrology.
Earlier this week, Madonna announced the companion album to her seminal 2005 effort Confessions on a Dance Floor, titled Confessions II. The project, which serves as Madonna’s 15th album and her first in seven years, will arrive on July 3rd. Earlier this year, we named the forthcoming LP as one of the most anticipated albums of 2026.
