Massive Ozzy Osbourne Statue To Be Unveiled at 2026 Hellfest

A huge statue of the late Ozzy Osbourne will be unveiled at France’s massive annual metal festival Hellfest this year, much like a giant Lemmy Kilmister statue made its debut at the same fest four years ago.

Sharon Osbourne revealed the news during her recent appearance at the MIDEM music industry conference in Cannes, France, while also giving fans a visual tease of the statue.

When an image of the in-progress statue was shown on a video screen, Sharon said, “Oh, there he is. Look at him, a rock god. That is going to debut at Hellfest, and that is June 18th. And the whole family will be there to see it. And it’s such a great tribute. It’s amazing. So, I can only thank [Hellfest director] Ben [Barbaud]. Just bless you. It’s an amazing piece of art.”

It is unclear who the sculptor is for the Ozzy statue at this time. The Lemmy statue was crafted by French sculptor Caroline Brisset.

This year’s Hellfest will feature headliners Iron Maiden, Limp Bizkit, and Bring Me the Horizon along with dozens of other bands. Tickets are available here.
