Eclectic bass producer Mersiv begins to unveil the sonic world of his fifth studio album, NOSTALGIA, with the release of its lead single “Kickback.” Mersiv has wiped his Instagram, starting fresh as he heads into a new chapter of his project. The standout bass act and label boss of MorFlo Records recently unveiled that his fifth studio album is on the way. Announced on Instagram through a creative promotional video, Mersiv is set to release his new record, NOSTALGIA, this fall. Fans received the first taste of his latest studio album with the release of “Kickback.” Released on August 25, the initial track for NOSTALGIA sets the tone for what’s to come. Opening with electric guitars, the song builds to a climax before dropping into an explosive drop. While the track begins with a rock-heavy feel, “Kickback” feels very true to Mersiv’s sound while adding elements that elevate his production.
