Movement Detroit 2027 Early Access is Right Around the Corner

Movement Detroit is returning to the Motor City next year, with early access purchases launching Thursday, September 17, at 9am PT | 12pm ET. The festival will return to Hart Plaza from May 29–31, 2027, bringing thousands of electronic music fans together in the birthplace of techno for another Memorial Day weekend celebration. Originally launched in 2000 as the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, the event was rebranded as Movement in 2003. Since then, the festival has become one of the world’s longest-running and most acclaimed electronic music events, continuing to celebrate Detroit’s rich techno legacy while shaping the genre’s future. Celebrating 20 years under local promoter Paxahau‘s leadership, Movement has become a globally recognized destination for authentic electronic music, welcoming fans from around the world to Detroit’s iconic Hart Plaza each Memorial Day weekend.
