NBA 2K27 Pre-Orders Begin as Release Date, Cover Athletes Revealed

2K Games has unveiled key details for NBA 2K27, including the release date, cover athletes, and pre-order information. The Standard Edition launches worldwide on September 4th, 2026, with Deluxe Edition and Ultra Edition buyers unlocking early access beginning August 28th. Pre-orders for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 are now available on Amazon.

San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama is featured on the cover of the $69.99 Standard Edition. The $99.99 Deluxe Edition spotlights WNBA Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, while Chicago Bulls legend Derrick Rose is featured on the $149.99 Ultra Edition.

Pre-order bonuses include 10,000 VC in-game currency across all editions. This is on top of the 100,000 VC and 135,000 VC already bundled with the Deluxe Edition and Ultra Edition, respectively.
