Neil Young Boycotts Apple and Verizon Over Ties to “Fascist Trump Regime”

Neil Young is actively working to boycott companies that support the “Fascist Trump Regime” with major donations.

In a new post on the Neil Young Archives, the frequent Trump critic shared his first example: moving his flip phone from Verizon to T-Mobile.

Young continued by explaining that he is referring to a list of companies “backing the Fascist Trump Regime” and intends to sever all contact with each, “one by one.”

“I’m trying to not support the companies that support the regime with huge donations, just to cover their own asses, while people are being shot on the streets of America, not just Minnesota, AMERICA!” he added.

Unfortunately for many people who might want to follow Young’s lead, this includes Apple. However, he has come up with the compromise of no longer making any upgrades, since his computer is “paid for already.”

“Tim Cook, the CEO, [is] falling over backwards to support the regime!” he wrote. ” He was at the ‘Melania’ premiere at the White House just the other night, kissing ass. Yikes! What a world.”

Young concluded, “I have to re-assess everything I am doing. I will sue Apple if my computer doesn’t work without the new costly upgrade. What about Warner Brothers?”

Other companies on Young’s list include Amazon, Meta, American Airlines, AT&T, Microsoft, Home Depot, FedEx, UPS, and Dell Technologies.

Young has continually spoken out against Trump and the tech billionaires who enable him while also putting his words into action. He pulled his music from Amazon in October 2025 and formally left Facebook a few months earlier in response to a report about Meta’s use of AI chatbots with children.
