Nine Inch Nails To Kick Off 2026 North American “Peel It Back” Tour

Nine Inch Nails‘ “Peel It Back” tour was one of the most thrilling concert experiences of 2025, so much so that we named the legendary industrial band our Live Act of the Year. Now, Trent Reznor and company are set to run it back with a new North American leg of cities they didn’t hit the first time around.

The 22-date 2026 leg kicks off this Thursday, February 5th, in New Orleans, and runs through a March 16th show in Sacramento, California (pick up tickets here). Once again, Boys Noize (aka Alexander Ridha) will open the show, as well as join NIN for a handful of songs in the middle of their set.

In our review of the band’s September 2025 show in Brooklyn, we called the concert a “feast for the eyes and ears.” Meanwhile, Jack White, who attended a gig in Nashville, marveled at the “best lighting” he’d ever seen at a rock show.

As Reznor told Consequence in our cover story naming NIN our Live Act of the Year, “The desire’s always been: How can the setting influence how the audience feels? How can it help make the music sound better? How can it help convey and immerse you in the experience?”

The band has also been inspired to create new music, with Reznor telling us, “We are prioritizing working on Nine Inch Nails over just taking on every single thing that comes up… the fuse has been lit and the desire is there.”

In the meantime, NIN just won their first Grammy in 30 years for Best Rock Song for “As Alive As You Need Me to Be” from the Tron: Ares soundtrack.
