
The New York Comedy Festival has added over 100 shows to its 2025 edition which happens November 7 – 16 at venues all over the five boroughs. Among them:
- Beyond Vaudeville: on onstage revival of the beloved NYC cable access variety show featuring hosts Frank Hope & David Greene, who later took the series to MTV as Oddville.
- That Chris Gethard Show: A new variety show from Chris Gethard that features “seasoned vets from all corners of the comedy scene experimenting. Newcomers you haven’t met before staking their claim. A live band.”
- Genius & Poison Presents: The Magicians of Magic: “The Magicians of Magic is presented by Genius & Poison: Rob Zabrecky, Nick Difatte, and Derek Hughes deliver an extraordinary evening of spellbinding magic, impossible feats, and brilliantly sharp humor”
- Jane Wickline & Liva Pierce Present: DUKES: SNL’s Jane Wickline and Liva Pierce’s sketch duo bring “Original sketches, songs, and special guests”
- Monsters of Tokyo Comedy: Yurié Collins, Daisuke Muramoto, Daniel Wilson, and more comedy imported from Japan
Plus: Ron Funches, Maddy Smith, Hannibal Buress, Jaye McBride, Jena Friedman, Sam Morrison, Todd Glass, Whitmer Thomas, Usama Siddiquee, RIGHT NOW with John Goblikon, I Never Liked You with Matteo Lane & Nick Smith, and lots more.
Previously announced shows include a Strangers With Candy reunion with Amy Sedaris, Stephen Colbert and Paul Dinello, Margaret Cho, Alex Edelman, Chris Fleming, Pete Holmes, Morgan Jay, Ismo, and more.
