Oasis Honor “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” Ozzy Osbourne at London Show: Watch

Oasis paid respect to the late Ozzy Osbourne at their Wembley Stadium show in London on Friday night (July 25th), dedicating their appropriately titled hit “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” to the metal legend.

Toward the end of the song “Live Forever,” an image of a young Ozzy appeared on the big screen, with singer Liam Gallagher telling the crowd, “I wanna dedicate this one next to Ozzy Osbourne, ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star,'” as the band launched into the Definitely Maybe tune.

Ozzy sadly passed away on Tuesday (July 22nd) at the age of 76. Oasis, meanwhile, are in the midst of their first tour in 16 years. The outing will hit North America next month, with tickets available here. See the band’s tribute to fellow British music icon Ozzy Osbourne below.
