Pamela Anderson has revealed that she “felt yucky” when she sat near Seth Rogen at the Golden Globes this past weekend, due to his involvement with the series Pam & Tommy.
During an interview with Andy Cohen for SiriusXM, Anderson reflected on how it felt to be in proximity to Rogen after he executive-produced and starred in the 2022 Hulu limited series, which was a dramatization of how Anderson’s unauthorized sex tape with Tommy Lee was stolen and distributed.
“Seth Rogen… he did Pam & Tommy without talking to me,” Anderson said to Cohen. “I just felt like ugh. How can someone make a TV series out of difficult times in your life? And I am a living, breathing human being over here.”
Anderson continued, “He was in the pit at the Golden Globes. I felt like, I’m not chopped liver over here. I felt weird about it. I’ve been so busy working. I’ve done five movies in the last year. Sometimes it hits you and you feel kind of down. It felt a little yucky.”
The actress added that she hopes that Rogen will eventually apologize for his role in the series. “When you are a public person, they say you have no right to privacy,” she said. “But your darkest, deepest secrets or tragedies should not be fair game for a TV series. That pissed me off a little bit.”
Pam & Tommy starred Lily James as Anderson, Sebastian Stan as Tommy Lee, and Rogen as Rand Gauthier, the man responsible for stealing the couple’s private sex tapes. While the series earned 10 Emmy nominations, it was made without Anderson’s consent or involvement.
This isn’t the first time Anderson has expressed frustration with Pam & Tommy. In a 2023 Variety interview, Anderson called the creators of the show “assholes,” saying they “still owe me a public apology.”
