London five-piece pencil have returned with the release of their brand new single, "Wingman", which signals the departure of guitarist Cai Burns and arrival of Soph Nathan.
Following the departure of bandmate Cai Burns, pencil now welcomes new guitarist Soph Nathan (Our Girl, The Big Moon), with both Burns and Nathan featuring on their latest release. "Wingman", a song about endings, beginnings and the contours of life between, was recorded with Polly Mackey (Art School Girlfriend), and mixed by Luciano Rossi (mui zyu).
"Wingman" marks the follow-up to acclaimed six-track EP, Bohemian Clutter, released earlier this year. Speaking ahead of their release, the group stated: “‘Wingman’ is a song about endings, beginnings and the spaces in between."
