Phoebe Bridgers has been busy. Last month, she shared her highly anticipated new album Lost Weekend and struggled to celebrate the release thanks to appendicitis. Now, she's making her acting debut in Lance Oppenheim's Primetime, which premiered Friday (Sept. 4) at the Venice Film Festival.The singer-songwriter plays a decoy named Del in the To Catch A Predator-themed film, which also stars Robert Pattinson. She earned acclaim in a new review from The Hollywood Reporter that says she gives a "a remarkably assured acting debut." On a panel, Pattinson discussed his reaction to Bridgers being considered for the cast: "I didn't even know Lance and Phoebe were friends before this happened and he was like 'Why don't we get Phoebe Bridgers for this?' And I was like 'Why don't we get the Queen?'"Attendees say Bridgers contributed a new song for the end credits. There are also rumors of a score with Oneohtrix Point Never, but that remains unconfirmed.
