Police in Australia have confirmed an active investigation into Katy Perry following claims made by actor Ruby Rose that she was sexually assaulted by the pop singer at a Melbourne nightclub in 2010, the Guardian reports.
Earlier this week, Rose described the alleged incident on social media, alleging that Perry saw her “resting” on a friends’ lap and proceeded to pull down her underwear and rub her crutch on Rose’s face. “[Perry] is more than welcome to sue me (she won’t, because it happened, I have photos and it was literally in public and witnessed by multiple people),” Rose added.
Through her representative, Perry has denied Rose’s claims as “not only categorically false” but “dangerous reckless lies.”
