Porij return with new release, "I'm Your Lover (Only)"

Speaking on the new single, which follows their 2024 debut album, Teething, as well as collaborations with Elkka, Faux Real, Metronomy, and Fcukers and Pan Amsterdam on a series of remixes, Egg says: "This song’s about accidentally falling in love. You can’t always pick when it happens and this is about leaning in, going with the flow and enjoying it for what it is without overthinking".

"Jacob came up with the original piano and drum hook for the chorus and called it Beefa on a Soundcloud demo so for the video we thought it would be rude not to go on a spontaneous 48-hour trip to Ibiza, where we filmed in a quiet villa tucked away in the north of the island, followed by a little bit of partying in Amnesia for Bicep Boiler room, which was slightly less quiet ;). Conception inspiration definitely came from a ‘Kevin & Perry’ vibe - think heading off on your first holiday with mates and all the antics that come with it. Sun-soaked days by the pool, cheeky bevs and tunes to die for," the band says of the accompanying video.
