Two years ago, Punitive Damage, the Pacific Northwest hardcore punk band led by former Regional Justice Center member Jerkova, released their album This Is The Blackout. It’s a hell of a full-length debut, even if that length is just 18 minutes. Later this month, they’ll follow that record with Hate Training, the new EP that they recorded with Japandroids collaborator Jesse Gander.
We’ve already posted the early track “Baptism Of Fire,” and now they’ve also shared the title track. It’s a 96 second ripper that radiates berserk fury, and its midtempo stomp-groove sounds like empires crumbling. This band fucking rules. Check out “Hate Training” below.
The Hate Training EP is out 10/25 on Convulse.
