Queens Of The Stone Age have revealed the title and possible release date of their upcoming album in a bloody teaser video – check it out below. Starring frontman Josh Homme and guitarist-keyboardist Dean Fertita, the newly shared 90-second clip features the two QOTSA members playing a game of five-finger fillet. While Fertita was pretty handy at the game, it all goes horribly wrong for Homme, who plunges the knife right into his own hand. Before things got too gory, Fertita had asked Homme when the record was coming out, to which he replied, “September 30th, I think.” After that, it all turns into a bloody mess, with a voice-over rounding off the clip by saying: “Queens of the Stone Age, the new album, ‘Perfecth’, coming September 30th.” However, at the end of the clip, the date is crossed out. Given new albums are typically released on Fridays, and September 30 is a Wednesday, there is a chance it could arrive on another date – which could be backed up by the new video’s non-committal title, ‘Coming…soon?’. The announcement of the album title and potential release date follow the unveiling of the first single, ‘Easy Street’ which was accompanied by a similarly bloody music video....
