Rob Zombie is contributing to the education system by releasing a new book that teaches kids how to spell via characters from his 2003 horror movie House of 1000 Corpses.
The new illustrated book Z Is for Zombie: Learning To Spell with House of 1000 Corpses Friends is now available to purchase via Amazon. The 76-page hardcover tome retails for $39.99 but is currently on sale for $35.99.
A description of the book reads: “It’s always more fun to learn with friends, especially when they’re House of 1000 Corpses friends! Rob Zombie presents Z Is for Zombie: Learning To Spell with House of 1000 Corpses Friends, where aspiring spellers can learn the important words and phrases properly. With support from positive role models like Captain Spaulding, Baby Firefly, Otis Driftwood, Professors, Doctors, and Rob Zombie himself, learning is just so damn good!”
The chief illustrator of the spelling book is Pete Bregman, who oversaw the artwork for The Official Rob Zombie Coloring Book, which was released in December, and is also available via Amazon.
When Rob Zombie isn’t putting out books for kids, he’s melting faces at his concerts. Thus far in 2025, he’s booked several US festival gigs, including Sonic Temple, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock, among others.
The shock rocker has also been working on the follow-up to his 2021 album, The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy.
