Sacred Bones is the first addition to All Flowers Group since the company was first formed in 2022 as an extension of Secretly. The partnership will bring Sacred Bones into the wider Secretly Group, which also includes Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar, Saddest Factory Records, Secretly Canadian — alongside new sister labels Ghostly International and drink sum wtr.
Sacred Bones was founded in Brooklyn by Caleb Braaten, who will be joining an executive leadership team which includes Ghostly International Founder and CEO Sam Valenti IV, Co-founder and CEO of drink sum wtr Nigil Mack, All Flowers Group Senior Director of A&R Alexandra Berenson, and All Flowers Group North American Marketing Director Kate Ebeling.
Speaking of the partnership, Sacred Bones Records Founder Caleb Braaten says, "I'm incredibly humbled to be invited to work with such forward-thinking people. I'm confident this collaboration will raise Sacred Bones' output to the highest possible level."
Sacred Bones will retain its core team, with Irene Lyden overseeing operations as Label Manager while Mercy Correll serving as Art Director. The label is credited with championing the work of artists such as John Carpenter, Jenny Hval, David Lynch, Molchat Doma, Mort Garson, and more.
