Seth MacFarlane Uses AI to Transform into Bill Clinton in Ted Season 2

Bubba is back in Ted Season 2 after creator Seth MacFarlane used AI to transform into former President Bill Clinton.

“It’s an interesting example of how AI can be used as a tool,” he told the Associated Press. “We tried prosthetics, we tried traditional CGI, everything else just looked terrifying.”

The results aren’t quite the stuff of nightmares, though this Clinton’s face does look eerily smooth. Still, it’s getting harder to defend the position that AI is useless; it’s very clearly coming for blue collar VFX jobs in Hollywood, and we’re probably not too far out from a $50 million Marvel movie that looks no worse than the recent batches of green screen battles.
