"‘You Stole the Show’ is a song I wrote that explores the idea of performance - not just as an artist, but also as a person and the various ways we 'perform' in our own lives," Sienna Spiro explains.
"The song was inspired by a moment I had during my last tour when I realised that so many of my songs are about a person who isn’t part of my life anymore. During each show I would try to imagine being back in the moment I wrote the songs about - to sing them with the most conviction and emotion. In doing that, I became overwhelmed by the very thought of him being in the audience each night and I would fantasize about what I hoped or imagined would happen if he actually was. That's what led me to create this song and how it all came together. I can’t wait for you to hear it."
"You Stole The Show" follows Sienna Spiro's debut EP, SINK NOW, SWIM LATER, as well as the standalone single, "Dream Police".
