Simon Pegg to Voice the Balrog in Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3

During its Comic-Con panel promoting the upcoming Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Prime Video revealed that the Balrog (last seen terrorizing Ian McKellen’s Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring) will appear in the prequel series. Not only that, but said Balrog will be voiced by Simon Pegg, making this the latest addition to his collection of genre franchises — he’s also appeared in properties including Star Wars, Star Trek, The Boys, and Mission: Impossible.
