Six workers were injured while loading out after Ed Sheeran’s Saturday concert at Ford Field in Detroit, according to reports. WDIV of Detroit reported that the workers were taken to the hospital where two were in serious condition and four in stable condition at the time. Calls from the fire department, which was dispatched at about 11:00 p.m. CT, said a forklift was involved in the injuries. The injuries happened while workers were breaking down the stage. Workers told WDIV that the equipment lost control and hit several of them near a backstage tunnel used for bringing in and out stage gear. The fire department said none of the injuries were life threatening. At least one worker who WDIV spoke with stayed overnight in the hospital.
