‘South Park’ creators apologise for long delay of Kendrick Lamar movie: “We still believe in the project”

The creators of South Park have issued an apology for the extensive delay of their upcoming movie with Kendrick Lamar – telling fans that they “still believe in the project”. The following year, it was confirmed that besides producing, Parker would also direct the live-action movie. Virtually no information about the film has been shared since then, although it has been confirmed that Dave Free of Lamar’s label PgLang will co-produce, and that the plot reportedly revolves around the past and present coming to a head when a young Black man who is interning as a slave re-enactor at a living history museum discovers that his white girlfriend’s ancestors once owned his family.
