Does ACAB apply to the Super Troopers? Without question, but that’s part of the fun. Twenty-five years after the original film became a stoner classic, and eight years after the sequel, the new trailer for Super Troopers 3 promises a return to the wild mayhem of the previous two movies, with Broken Lizard and the iconic Brian Cox all returning. (Thanks to the Disney acquisition of Fox, is Cox’s Captain John O’Hagen now officially a Disney princess? He probably swears more than Mulan.)

Everyone’s favorite cops are back with the third installment of the cult comedy classic from the Broken Lizard crew: SUPER TROOPERS 3. When Farva’s wildly over-the-top Indian engagement to Thorny’s sister spirals into chaos, the Super Troopers must navigate Thorny’s schemes to break up the relationship, while trying to crack a pernicious new drug ring — all to save the day and maybe the wedding itself.
As with the first two films, Jay Chandrasekhar directs, with him and the rest of the Broken Lizard squad — Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske — writing the script and starring. Marisa Coughlan also returns, with newcomers Hannah Simone, Iqbal Theba, Sakina Jaffrey, Jon Rudnitsky, and Lisa Gilroy all joining the cast.
