“Quiet Nights are some of the early sketches from a deadly quiet and beautiful period of time. For myself it was a time of stripping back, dropping down into the ground and channelling something raw and real,” Lily says of the new project, which follows her debut album, Speak In The Dark, released last year.
“Tropical Storm” — which Lily describes as “a lucid dream playing in our minds again and again” — comes as the lead single to tease the upcoming work, with the track featuring South London singer-songwriter King Krule. The new release also arrives ahead of a November UK/EU tour, during which Lily will play London’s Royal Albert Hall (18 November), in addition to shows in Bristol (13 November), Brighton (14 November), Edinburgh (19 November), and Manchester 20 November).
