Tekashi 6ix9ine Leaves Prison With SpongeBob Doll Signed By Nicolás Maduro

Last year, Tekashi 6ix9ine violated the terms of his supervised release and was sentenced to three months behind bars. The controversial rapper got out yesterday, and he was holding a SpongeBob doll he bragged was signed by the former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

It is possible that 6ix9ine and Maduro became prison pals. The Metropolitan Detention Centre is notorious and has also held inmates like Luigi Mangione, Diddy, R. Kelly, and Ghislaine Maxwell. Celebrity jeweler Vobara greeted 6ix9ine outside the prison, gifting him a $2.2 million 400-carat diamond chain of almost four pounds.

6ix9ine was originally arrested in 2018 along with Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members for firearm charges. After notoriously testifying against the gang members, he was given a reduced two-year sentence, but then was caught possessing cocaine and MDMA.
