TESSERACTS Return to EATBRAIN With Heavyweight EP, ‘Mission’

**Polish twin duo TESSERACTS are back with a gritty, four-track EP titled Mission after making their explosive debut on EATBRAIN last year.**

Since bursting onto the neurofunk scene, TESSERACTS have created banger after banger. Leaning heavily into their neurofunk, hop, and groove style, the Polish twin duo combine deep, distorted basslines with rap vocals and old school hip-hop rhythms.

JADE VENOM’s EATBRAIN label debut introduced TESSERACTS to the world, establishing them as heavy hitters in the neurofunk and bass scenes. Now, they’re back with their second EP on the label, Mission. These four tracks of genre-blending neurofunk and hip-hop proclaim these two are here to stay.

TESSERACTS were definitely on a mission when they created this EP. The eponymous title track is a high-octane heater, setting the stage for the rest of the album. Its sawtooth synths, heavy basslines, and repeated vocals signify that these two really are sent from above to deliver the grimiest neurofunk.

“Intelligent Killer” embodies the groovy neurofunk that TESSERACTS strive for, while “Savage” is a grittier, more aggressive cut that leans toward the EATBRAIN aesthetic. The duo close the album with a revamped version of their smash hit, “CEO of Underground,” taking it from the funky, hip-hop swagger of neurofunk to a more bass-laden, peak-time heavyweight anthem.

TESSERACTS have spent the last year hard at work honing their technical prowess, and Mission is proof of that. The four tracks on Mission showcase their ability to follow their innate musical instincts and translate that into music for the masses. The two are carving out quite the niche for themselves, and I, for one, am excited to see what they come up with next.
