The Cure and Amyl & The Sniffers are the first acts announced for Oslo's Øya Festival

The Cure will headline the opening night on 12 August for their only Norwegian show of 2026, with Australian punk-rockers Amyl & The Sniffers confirmed as main support. The Cure are returning seven years after their last headline performance on Tøyen Park’s main stage.

Claes Olsen, Founder of Øya Festival said: “Super excited with this first announcement, as The Cure has been one of my favourite bands since I was a teenager, and they keep on delivering mesmerising shows. Amyl and her band will also be a blast”.
