Joining the bill for Sónar 2026 are rave crew The Prodigy, who will be accompanied by Dom Dolla and Sara Landry to make their debut at the festival, NYC dance punk outfit YHWH Nailgun, Daniel Avery presenting his live band show, in addition to Barcelona hip-hop collective Cutemobb, Catalan baile funk and rage rap artist TAWA, and more.
They join previously announced artists including Nia Archives, Sammy Virji, Skepta, Joy Orbison, Kelis, Chris Stussy, and more.
Entering its 33rd edition, Sónar Festival will offer an expansive program across multiple venues. The main festival will be hosted at Fira Gran Via, with six reimagined stages featuring three days (18-20 June) of uninterrupted music from 5pm to 3am on opening day, and 5pm to 7am on the remaining days.
SonarVillage is set to serve as the main stage, the only one open from start to finish to offer a diverse and accessible set of performances. SonarClub offers the biggest dance floor in the world, and will be hosting a bill of major electronic acts and DJs with upgrades to the space’s soundsystem, lighting, and visual production systems. The club energy spreads over to SonarCar, which will see a three-day takeover by STOOR Live — a studio project led by dutch techno artist Speedy J.
Global club culture will be highlighted at SonarPark, while SonarLab will bring together contemporary and classic club culture. SonarHall offers an easy in-between, as it switches between concert hall and a club space, with a schedule that runs into the night.
Beyond its main days, Sónar commits to hosting a week of events, transforming Barcelona into a hub for music, innovation, creativity, and technology, this year with the addition of an expanded musical program through Sónar District at Parc del Fòrum, the return of Sónar Kids, and OFFSónar at Poble Espanyol, which concludes the musical offering by bringing together key parties and labels from the world of global electronic music.
The festival’s technology and innovation conference, exhibition and creative summit, Sónar+D, will also return to run alongside the music, this year relocating to Llotja de Mar in central Barcelona with stronger presence within Sónar’s main activities.
