Ticketmaster Cancels Thousands of Scalped Tickets for Harry Styles’ MSG Residency, Will Release Them to Fans at Face Value

Ticketmaster have announced that they’ve cancelled thousands of tickets bought by scalpers for Harry Styles’ upcoming Madison Square Garden residency.

In an address from Ticketmaster President Saumil Mehta posted to Instagram, the company confirmed that they’ve caught thousands of scalpers “using multiple accounts and fake identities” to buy Harry Styles tickets and resell them for profit. They note that none of these now-cancelled tickets were transferred to fans, and they’re working with Styles’ team to “release them back to fans at the original price.” All (non-scalper) fans who purchased tickets during the on-sale period, as well as fans who bought tickets for other cities’ shows, will not be affected by the cancellation.
