While his favorite team the Los Angeles Rams didn’t make it to the big game, Tom Morello still made his presence known Sunday during Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The guitarist held up an “ICE OUT” rally towel from his seat in the stands.

The Rage Against the Machine rocker shared a photo of himself proudly displaying the towel during ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.” He was actually one of thousands of attendees at the Super Bowl who were given the towels by a collective of musicians and artists known as Contra-ICE.

The reverse-side of the towel contains an image of a football-playing bunny punting an football frozen in ice, created by political cartoonist and activist Lalo Alcaraz.

Morello recently headlined an anti-ICE concert in Minneapolis, where he was joined by surprise guest Bruce Springsteen. The guitarist also just announced a spring US solo tour, backed by a full electric band (pick up tickets here).
