Tony Njoku's second album , All Our Knives Are Always Sharp, was first released back in July. The deluxe edition will feature five new songs, including collaborations with spoken word artist Isaiah Hull and composer Damsel Elysium. "MALAISE" arrives as the first single from the forthcoming work.

Speaking on the new track, Njoku explains: “MALAISE is a song about personal depression and the disorientation of navigating the vast, atlas-like terrain of the collective consciousness. It grapples with the impossible task of trying to understand why people act as we do, looking from a subconscious level, and what direction the world is heading. That pursuit becomes a taunting, elusive dance, pulling the mind through its random motions until it leaves you caught between meaning and confusion."

"The lyrics paint a landscape of emotional turbulence and contradiction, blending natural forces with deeply human vulnerability. It’s filled with tension between opposites. Overall, it feels like a song about being swept up in forces larger than yourself (emotional, natural, existential) and coming out bruised but honest and aware.”
