Tori Amos has released “Stronger Together,” the first single from her upcoming album, In Times of Dragons, featuring a little help from a young lady in her bloodline. Check out the song below.
The track boasts supporting vocals from her daughter, Tash, in their latest collaboration. On the dreamy pop number, Amos tells a powerful story of coming together while Tash contributes subtle backing vocals.
In a press release, Amos revealed that “Stronger Together” is about meeting a character named The Daughter in the storyline of her upcoming album. “‘Stronger Together”’ is the culmination of our relationship as it is transformed with The Daughter choosing to stand by me no matter what challenges lay ahead,” Amos said. “Whatever we will face in the future, we make a vow to each other that we’re stronger together.”
“Stronger Together” is the lead single off her 18th studio album, In Times of Dragons, out May 1st via Universal/Fontana. Pre-orders are ongoing.
Last month, Amos released a statement detailing the project: “In Times of Dragons is a metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny, reflecting the current abhorrent non-accidental burning down of democracy in real time by the ‘Dictator believing Lizard Demons’ in their usurpation of America.”
To commemorate the release of In Times of Dragons, Amos will be heading out on tour this summer for 35 shows, starting in July in Florida and wrapping up in September in Seattle. She’ll stop in major cities like Dallas, Phoenix, and Boston during her trek. Get your tickets here.
The release of In Times of Dragons follows Amos’ debut children’s book, Tori and the Muses, and its accompanying companion album, both of which arrived in 2025.
