BETTER LOVERS
Better Lovers have announced a late fall tour leading up to BLISSMAS ’25. They’ll be joined by Soul Blind, Johnny Booth, and Hong Kong Fuck You. Two shows are with ex-Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams’ new band Atomic Rule, which means all of ETID’s final lineup, except Keith Buckley, will be at those shows.
LEON BRIDGES / CHARLEY CROCKETT
Leon Bridges and Charley Crockett start their The Crooner & The Cowboy co-headline tour in Milwaukee tonight and hit NYC on September 4 at Forest Hills Stadium that’s also with Reyna Tropical and Honky Tonkin’ in Queens.
PLAYBOI CARTI
Playboi Carti released his new album Music in March, and he’s announced the Antagonist Tour supporting it. Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Homixide Gang, and Apollo Red open.
KNEECAP
Rabble-rousing, politically outspoken Irish rap trio Kneecap have officially cancelled all US dates on their fall tour – the Canadian shows, however, will still go on as scheduled.
SPEED / MSPAINT / END IT
After their dates supporting Turnstile, Speed head to Brooklyn for a stacked headlining show with MSPAINT and End It at roller rink rock club Xanadu on October 25.
DANIEL AVERY
Daniel Avery, the techno DJ and producer who is gearing up to release rock-oriented new album Tremor on Halloween, has a few DJ gigs lined up including NYC’s Basement on September 5 where Justine Perry, Lydo, Zombies in Miami, Perfect Lovers, and Victor Rodriguez will also be spinning till probably sun-up.
ICELAND AIRWAVES 2025
Iceland Airwaves has announced it’s full 2025 lineup where you can see cool bands (including 40 from Iceland) and hopefully the aurora borealis.
THE BESNARD LAKES
The Besnard Lakes have announced North American fall tour dates in support of their upcoming album The Besnard Lakes are the Ghost Nation, with Canadian dates in November and US East Coast dates in December.
CURSIVE / AJJ
Cursive have announced a new run of US shows in the Northeast and Midwest to wrap up the year. AJJ will open the shows in stripped down, duo formation (Sean Bonnette and Ben Gallaty).
THE ACACIA STAIN
Metalcore/deathcore vets The Acacia Strain have announced their annual two-day holiday extravaganza, “Tune Low Die Slow Ho Ho,” in Albany in December. The lineups include Skinless, Fuming Mouth, Gates To Hell, Full of Hell, On Broken Wings, Jivebomb, and more.
