Turnstile’s Coachella performance of “SEEIN’ STARS” has to be seen to be believed, not the least of which because the band brought out Blood Orange. Watch the video below.
The critically-acclaimed band, who just took home the award for Best Rock Album at the 2026 Grammys thanks to last year’s NEVER ENOUGH, gifted a kick-ass set to the Coachella audience. Splitting the setlist in half between cuts from NEVER ENOUGH and its predecessor, the excellent GLOW ON, Turnstile were as contagiously energetic with their hardcore heroics as ever. While tracks like “HOLIDAY,” “BLACKOUT,” and “BIRDS” had the crowd excitedly jumping around, the standout moment from the set was undeniably “SEEIN’ STARS,” which featured Blood Orange joining the band, cello in hand. Watch clips of the performance and check out the full setlist below.
Turnstile’s Coachella show isn’t the only time that the band will rip the stage of a festival to shreds in the next few months. They’re set to perform at the Osheaga festival in Montreal on August 1st, Outside Lands from August 7th through 9th, and then play at Shaky Knees on September 18th. Get tickets to the band’s upcoming shows over on Ticketmaster.
The band’s continued success comes amidst the shocking attempted murder charges brought against their former drummer, Brady Ebert, who allegedly ran over singer Brendan Yates’ 79-year-old father with a car. While the band did not address the situation on stage, they did launch their performance with an intro video featuring Yates’ father.
Turnstile issued a full statement about the situation, writing, “Turnstile cut ties with Brady Ebert in 2022 in response to a consistent pattern of harmful behavior affecting himself, the band, and the community. After exhausting every available resource to support his access to help and recovery, a boundary ultimately had to be set when healthy communication was no longer possible, and he began threatening violence.”
The lengthy statement then explained the “severe physical trauma” that Yates’ father felt because of Ebert, with the band concluding, “We have no language left for Brady. Please respect our privacy in this time.”
Aside from that news cycle, Turnstile recently made headlines for performing a dreamy cover of The Stone Roses’ “I Wanna Be Adored” for Australian radio station triple j’s long-running Like A Version series.
