Though the current indie-country boom tends to be US-centric, UK band Brown Horse are one of the best newer bands in this style and also one of the most prolific. They’ve released an album a year since 2024 and that continues this year with Total Dive, due out April 10 via Loose Music. It was produced by Owen Turner, and the first single is “Twisters,” which picks up right where last year’s great All the Right Weaknesses left off. It’s a great dose of twangy indie rock and if you’re into anything from MJ Lenderman to Songs: Ohia to Neil Young you should not be sleeping on it. Brown Horse also announced a North American tour for this spring, kicking off at LA’s Permanent Records Roadhouse on May 2 and wrapping up at NYC’s Night Club 101 on May 20. All dates are listed below.
